The directors of Goodharts Solicitors Limited have considerable legal experience. They are senior solicitors, City of London trained and have accumulated a wealth of quality experience in the top law firms in the City of London over the last 18 years.
Marie Colquhoun heads up the Dispute Resolution Department and the Employment Department, having had considerable experience in both areas. During her time in the City of London, Marie represented many commercial clients in an extensive range of both contentious and non-contentious matters. She gained extensive litigation experience acting in a variety of high profile matters, including the Lloyd’s litigation, high level solicitors’ negligence claims and litigation arising as a result of World Trade Centre losses following 9/11.
More recently, Marie has focused on acting for clients in a variety of employment related matters. In particular, she acted on behalf of thousands of clients in a number of sex discrimination claims, the most notable being the high profile case of Allen v GMB which her clients won.
Anne Colquhoun heads up the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department. Anne has extensive, in-depth knowledge of this area of law. She has handled many complex, high value claims, winning substantial awards in excess of £500,000 for victims who have suffered catastrophic injuries who have been left severely and permanently disabled.
Anne also has considerable experience of representing victims of industrial diseases, including asbestos-related conditions, noise-induced hearing loss, hand/arm vibration syndrome, repetitive strains injuries and work-related stress claims.
Anne has also acted for victims involving a broad range of accidents, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, trips and slips and claims for criminal injuries compensation
